We recently returned from a perfect journey through Bhutan and Nepal an unforgettable experience made possible thanks to Trekking Trail Nepal and their wonderful team, Aparr Datta and Madhav Lamsal. From the very beginning, we felt we were in the best hands. We requested a trip that combined hiking, authentic cultural encounters, and meaningful interaction with local people and we received a carefully crafted, fully customized itinerary filled with experiences we never could have found on our own. In Bhutan, we were greeted by a professional, dedicated, and attentive guide and driver who turned every day into an adventure. They took care of every detail, fulfilled every request, and made our stay truly authentic and special. I had to attend a business meet ... Thanks tons for the exciting Manaslu Base Camp Trek with the Ranikot Village Hike and Bhaktapur city tour. I was in Nepal during the last week of May 2025 with my wife. I had to attend a business meeting, so my Nepal visit had to be managed effectively, with the Manaslu Base Camp trek. My wife was excited to visit the Himalayas and Mt. Manaslu. I didn’t have any idea about what, where, or how she is trying to organize for us. I just googled Manaslu Base Camp Trek. I saw the simplest yet the best option at some point: the Manaslu Base Camp Trek on the Trekking Trail Nepal official site. Immediately informed my wife about this package and the company. Surprisingly, this was the same company my wife was also dealing with for some customization and additional days in Kathmandu. The team of Trekking Trail Nepal and Aparr got a reply with detailed information and a personalized itinerary. The Manaslu Trek was only for 14 days, but we added 3 days of hiking, meeting, and Bhaktapur sightseeing, and the complete package of 18 days comes neatly and perfectly planned. We booked the Manaslu Base Camp Trek with other activities. Our exciting Manaslu Base Camp trek starts with Kathmandu airport pickup, hotel transfer, trip briefing, and guide meetup, and goes all day without any lag or ups and downs. The village hiking of Ranikot in Kathmandu was the best decision we made before the hiking, so we understood the Nepalese culture, people, and topography. Our guide Aparr led all the treks and hikes, assisted by Jaya as a porter.  The jeep transportation between Kathmandu and Macha Khola and Dharapani to Beshisahar and back to Kathmandu was a little tough for us, even though we have our own private 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser. All hotels were excellent with private hot showers, and the food was amazing, including fruit and dessert at each dinner. Short, short tea breaks with local and Nepalese snacks make our hike more enjoyable. Above all, the depth of knowledge, experience, and adventure skills of Aparr and the caring nature of Jaya make this Manaslu Base Camp Trek exciting in a comfortable way. The Manaslu Base Camp Trek with a 5-star hotel in Kathmandu and all-inclusive services is a bit expensive, but I highly recommend it if you are in Nepal for life-changing hiking in the Himalayas. And also recommended Trekking Trail Nepal, who are very professional and courteous.

Best Everest Trek by Road Without Flying to Lukla Airport

I came to Nepal with my girlfriend for Nepal trekking, and Everest Base Camp was right at the top of our bucket list. She was a bit skeptical about whether she could handle the trek all the way to Eve ... I came to Nepal with my girlfriend for Nepal trekking, and Everest Base Camp was right at the top of our bucket list. She was a bit skeptical about whether she could handle the trek all the way to Everest Base Camp, including Kalapatthar, without flying to Lukla airport and with an off-road drive for 2 days to Lukla. We meet Aparr from Trekking Trail Nepal and discuss all our questions, including Mr. Lok (trekking guide) from Trekking Trail Nepal. We come with a fixed itinerary for the best Everest trek by road without the Lukla flight. Honestly, I did not even know it was possible before we met the Trekking Trail Nepal Team! Travelling overland through the hidden lower Khumbu region and reaching the Everest Base Camp area without flying was something truly amazing. We set off with Mr. Lok leading the way, and he was absolutely brilliant, full of local information, road updates, knowledge, a proper laugh, and always making sure we were comfortable even on our off-road drive in the local jeep. The first 2 days of the drive between Kathmandu to Lukla were not easy but included the real experience of Nepal. What we experienced during the journey was more unique than the experiences of the thousands of trekkers of Everest Base Camp. With the toughest morning hike, we reached Kala Patthar at 5550 m for the views of the sunrise at Mt. Everest and Nuptse, and this became the best moment of my life. The whole experience was seamless, from local transportation to the selection of tea houses, drinks, and meals; everything was excellent. I have to say, Trekking Trail Nepal is not a massive corporate company, but that’s exactly why they are the best trekking company in Nepal. Small diamonds shine with services and local information. Their service, attention to every detail, local information including the road condition, and bona fide care for the guest put them miles ahead of the big operators. If you want to experience the best Everest trek by road, without flying to Lukla Airport, and have it done right, I can’t recommend Trekking Trail Nepal and Mr. Lok enough. This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that I will never forget. I will definitely be back to tackle the full Everest Base Camp Three High Pass trek with them one day.

We contacted Trekking Trail Nepal for the most adventurous Everest Base Camp Trek by Road, almost at midnight after we arrived in Nepal. We received the email in 41 minutes exactly, even in the peak season. The next day we visit Mr. Aparr in his office. He was amazing for the knowledge about the Everest trek without the Lukla flight. We feel so comfortable and satisfied to book our trip with him, and he introduced our guide, Bhala, who belongs to the lower Everest region. Our trip starts with a local jeep ride, as we booked to Salleri on day 1, and the next day we switch to the pickup to reach Thamdanda, and we hike 3 hours to reach Surke village, just 300 meters below the runway of Lukla airport. From there we join the classical route to base camp with hundreds of hikers. As we discussed a lot of things in Kathmandu with Aparr and Bhala, we found the same flow in the field from our guide and porter who joined us in Thamdanda. Bhala not only does the guide job of leading the trail and managing all the meals and rooms, but he also takes us to explore the local surroundings in Salleri, Phakding, and Surke, which helps us to differentiate upper Everest from lower Everest. To be precise, commercialize Everest with the real Everest region. Trekking Trail Nepal is a diamond; If you need gold… Aparr proved that his philosophy, "The best trekking company in Nepal," is true, as he mentioned to us that we are the diamond, not the gold. From lunch to the hotel, from tea breaks to water refill points, viewpoints for our photographs, visiting of monasteries, and prayer flag points. He organizes everything that comes to our mind. Blimey, the Snowman Trek is not just a hike; it is the proper trekking adventure, the sort that gets under your skin and stays there. For 25 days with Trekking Trail Nepal, I was off the grid, wandering through a world where time moves at its own pace, where the air is so thin it has to knock the wind right out of you, and the views? Bloody spectacular. We started in Paro, all rugged terrain, green valleys, and misty mornings, then slowly worked our way up into the highlands and Himalayas. The sort of place where the only noise is the odd yak and mulls bell tinkling and local songs from Nepalese and Bhutanese guides and porters in the distance, and the low hum of monks chanting. No traffic, no nonsense, just proper peace to make the best trek in the world. The scenery? Like something out of a dream. One minute you are trudging through rhododendron forests thick with fog, the next you are crossing icy rivers that could knock you flat if you are not careful. However, the guide makeseverything safe and smoother. The passes blimey some over 5,000 metres! Proper leg-burners, those. But then you round a corner, and there is a chorten glowing in the sunset, or Gangkar Puensum looming in the distance, the highest unclimbed peak in the world, all moody and majestic. Makes the sweat and swearing worth it. The Bhutanese and Nepalese ? Lovely lot. Our guides were not just there to point the way they were proper legends, full of stories round the fire and looking after us like we were old mates. And the grub? Surprisingly bang-on. Who knew dal and Ema-Datshi (that’s lentils and chillies with cheese, by the way) could taste so good after a long day on your feet? Make no mistake, this Snow Man Trek is no walk in the park. It is tough, remote, and at times downright brutal. But if you are after a proper challenge, something that will test your knees, your lungs, and your sense of humour, then this is it. One of the last great adventures, and worth every blister. My guide Lok was outstanding; he was so informative, kind, and caring from start to finish, whether we were preparing for a midnight jeep ride to Thamdanda from Kathmandu or trekking for days. He always greeted me and other trail friends with a supportive smile and positive attitude. The trek to Everest Base Camp via road was adventurously unreal, especially the long drive days with hairpin bends and narrow roads. The road section from Bupsa to Surke is real madness. Although we were prepared to explore this Everest Base Camp Trek without a flight by driving in December, the night and day at Kalapatthar were very cold, and a small pot of black masala tea kept me alive. As we start hiking down after base camp, I know why Aparr gives me the micro spikes. It was an extremely difficult walk down without crampons. Lok supported me through every challenge, from choosing food and drinks to taking beautiful shots in a specific timeframe. I was very happy to have an experienced guide and responsible company at the back. The food with fruits, private room, hotels, hot shower, and hot drinks on every break and meals are managed perfectly so I can focus on my dream to reach Everest Base Camp on my limited budget. And Aparr, Lok, and Trekking Trail Nepal help me to achieve this. My Second Trek with Trekking Trail Nepal

This was my second trek with Trekking Trails and I had a brilliant experience on both treks. The Manaslu Circuit proved to be a challenging trek with several long days and lots of uphill and downhill ... This was my second trek with Trekking Trails and I had a brilliant experience on both treks. The Manaslu Circuit proved to be a challenging trek with several long days and lots of uphill and downhill sections but the rewards and the views were well worth the effort. Our guide Lokendra and our porter Jayendra looked after us very well - Lokendra used his extensive experience of the mountains to ensure that we were fully fit and acclimatized to the altitude before we crossed the Larke pass and was always on hand to answer our many questions and to offer very good advice. We always arrived at out destination for the day in good time and as we got higher up and the days walk was shorter we often did an extra acclimatization walk to explore the village that we had arrived at and to ascend to Manaslu base camp on our rest day. By choice we ate Dahl Bat most days which was always good and helped to give us enough energy for the long days of walking - we did vary this a few times and the food was always good. Jayendra was always there to greet us with a smile along the way and with our room keys when we arrived at our destination for the day. Both Lokendra and Jayendra were always there for us and became our friends - our little group of 2 people became a group of 4 people and it was like we were all enjoying the trek and walking in and enjoying the beautiful mountains together. We also enjoyed a great sightseeing day in Kathmandu with our guide Keesha who was good company and easy to be with and answered all of our many questions. I would highly recommend Trekking Trails - Apar and the team have taken good care of us all the way from our initial enquiry and arrival in Kathmandu through the sightseeing day and a fantastic trek to our final farewell supper.

While we are waiting for our Chopper at the Helipad next to Gorekshep in the cold wind, and amazing views. We have to give up our turn to another guest who has been severely suffering from acute mountain sickness. His guide was smoking and enjoying the wind, I feel lucky to get Apar as a Guide who feels more responsibility and knows his duties. Even our porter Bibek helping that sick traveler. But we get lucky to landed on Phortse village and able to explores around. I think this is called Karma. It was not more than 5 minutes But it spices on our Everest Base Camp Heli Trek. We were there just to pick some small climbing training equipment. I Will Come for Mohare Danda Trekking We are friends and he continuously helps my business as policy changes. I meet Apar 3 times after my first visit to Nepal. I am counting down the days to land in Kathamndu Nepal to see him and his valuable company and do the Mohare Danda Trek with Khopra, which his company Trekking Trail Nepal is promoting since 2017. Our group of 5 friends had a great time with Apar and his team (Ashishm, Lokendra and Joyendra) during our Short Mohare Danda Trek of 4 Day and 3 Night! The community trek was a very interesting experience, and we are glad to be able to contribute back to the community lodges and small businesses. The views along the trek were very diverse and beautiful, though we were a little unlucky with sunrise as it was cloudy. Mohare Danda Trek 4 Day 3 Night - The Best Community Trek Special shout-out to Lokendra and Joyendra, who were exceptional - super friendly, caring, patient and very knowledgeable about the trail. We were well taken care by them of throughout the trek! Though there were some hiccups such as one of our friend's falling ill and another whose shoes fell apart, the team were very well prepared and helped to tape up the shoes, provided medicine and blood oxygen reader. Another thoughtful act was to build a fire and heat up some potatoes & hard-boiled eggs for our lunch during one of our longest days of trekking. We are glad to have engaged Trekking Trail Nepal for this Mohare Danda Trek, and we look forward to visiting beautiful Nepal again in the future!

When I became interested in the ABC Trek, I contacted Trekking Trail Nepal for information. I communicated with Apar via email, and he always responded quickly to any questions and provided all of the ... When I became interested in the ABC Trek, I contacted Trekking Trail Nepal for information. I communicated with Apar via email, and he always responded quickly to any questions and provided all of the information that I needed to make a decision. Apar met me at the airport in Kathmandu. From that time until I left Nepal, Apar and his team made sure I was taken care of and that I got to have an amazing experience. I wanted to do the ABC Trek but did not have the amount of time that people usually spend on the trek. Apar created an itinerary where I could experience and hopefully complete the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in 4 days. Apar helped me obtain equipment that I needed and made himself available to me the entire time I was in Nepal. I was provided a guide (Lokendra) and porter (Joyendra) who were both very professional and a pleasure to be around for the duration of the trek. They were both very informative about the trek and the culture of Nepal. They pushed me when I needed and were very supportive throughout the trek. Lokendra even guided me around several locations in Kathmandu, which was above and beyond the scope of the trek. I felt that I and my property were safe and secure at all times. My guide and porter arranged all meals and overnight accommodations, allowing me to focus on enjoying my trek. During the trek, bad weather threatened to cause me to miss flights leaving Pokhara and Nepal. Apar was able to help me change my travel so that I didn't miss any flights and was able to move on the next part of my travel as planned. Apar even met me at my hotel the morning I was to leave, took me to the airport, and gave me a very special Nepalese send off. Everything was clearly explained up front. There were never any negative surprises, and I was never asked to pay for anything that was not disclosed to me before beginning the trek. Trekking Trail Nepal delivered everything that was promised to me and more. I initially considered doing a different trek on my own. I am So Happy that I went with Trekking Trail Nepal instead. I will definitely contact Trekking Trail Nepal when I am fortunate enough to return to Nepal and I hope that I can spend time with Apar, Lokendra, and Joyendra again.

We have been wondering whether select Mohare Danda Trek was the better choice or not? And even after our selection I asked a lot of people and searched in many sites, since Trekking Trail Nepal Trip Planner gives us the final authority to change for other trek. After completing the trek, we found that Mohare Danda trek has the better view, peaceful nature and welcoming community. Whereas the Mohare Danda itself is nicer than the Short Poon Hill trek which is quite popular nowadays and alternative trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. We did walk for most of the time through a deep forest with Rhododendron trees. This trek would be more magnificent in March to May when there will have blossom of Rhododendron flowers. Most of the villages on this trek do have community lodges. Our trekking trail was brilliant and every morning we had a magnificent view of sunrise, good weather with a clear view on the Annapurna, Fishtail and Dhaulagiri mountains. During this Mohare Danda trek we spend our night at community lodge or in a home stay. Mohare Danda Trekking was an interesting experience as you can directly see how local people live in this area. Overall, we were very satisfied with the way our Mohare Danda Trek was organized. We highly recommend Trekking Trail Nepal and team for their best suggestion and service they provided to us.

Trekking Trail Nepal is happy to guide us as our Itinerary of Mohare Danda Community Trekking in 5 days from Pokhara to Pokhara. We requested Mr. Apar to guide Mohare Danda Trekking as our guide who is also Trip Planner of our trek and company owner too. We completed 5 days Mohare Danda Trekking from Pokhara with an amazing experience of Community Lodge and Home Stay Accommodation for which Mohare Danda Trekking known for. We walked almost 5 hours a day with full enjoyment of white peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalayas ranges. We found that this trek is also called community trek, meeting friendly locals in villages and experiencing their culture. Their Home stays were very basic, but clean and can have tasty local food. We had great views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and Nilgiri each day. We found our choice is best among others. After a short discussion with Mr. Apar, he also recommends us to do Dhampus Sarangkot trek as per our time frame and we trust his word. Next morning we caught Tourist coach to reach Pokhara,Overnight in Luxury hotel and next morning after breakfast, we started our trek with short drive by private car. Our Guide was Mr. Lokendra, who was born in the base area of Mt. Everest. He had good knowledge of all trekking route in Nepal. We reached Dhampus for overnight crossing small deep forest and Australian Camp, the trek was almost uphill. The next day after breakfast again we started our uphill trek to reach Sarangkot. We saw breathtaking snow-capped mountain ranges from viewpoint including the worlds famous mountains like Manaslu, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail and many others. We are very happy with their suggestion, accommodations on the trek, delicious food, and jokes to reduce our tiredness. We would like to provide big thank to Trekking Trail Nepal who recommend Mohare Danda Trek to me and my friends as well as made our trek unforgettable. We have no doubt to recommend this company to my other friends as well as to world. Mohare Danda Trek was our first trip in Nepal, coming from steamy country; the cold weather was one of the most challenging parts of this trip. But we could say this one of the best and unforgettable trekking trips that we ever had. The view throughout the whole trek was spectacular. We were able to see Dhaulagiri 1-5, Manaslu, Annapurna 1-4, South, Nilgiri, Fish-Tail and more, Also walk along fragrance forest of oak and see beautiful Rhododendron. The accommodation we stayed was basic but nice and clean because this trekking trail is based on community trek. We were happy that we were able to taste delicious food made by the local people. We also would like big thank to our guide Mr. Apar and Mr. Joy our supporting and experience porter. We had a good time with all of them. Next day our adventurous Manaslu Annapuran Trek starts with 4 wheel jeep with our guide Bishal, porter Bharat and Driver Dhan. But at the lunch place of Dhadhing, our guide got an ankle sprain. Then all things halt for the moment. We wait in the Hotel with Bharat. We drink like 10 CocaCola during our 4 hour stop. The driver takes Bishal to Hospital and comes back to our place with bad news. Our guide breaks his leg. He is in pain and we are in big confusion. We almost decided to cancel our trek but with a few minutes call with Apar changes everything back on track. We don't need to deal with any others to change the itinerary which we use a lot. We add 3 Extra days in Manang, Dharmasala, and Jomsom. We spend 28 days together with Apar and Bharat. He even comes at the Airport to say good buy with our first guide Bishal. This was the touchy moments. I could not cry after getting the adventure of Lifetime, but my tears rolls. Apar, Bharat, and Bishal did a lot to us to make our Annapuran Manaslu Trek the best adventure holiday of our life. Apar teaches us lots of Nepalese words and songs by Bharat. Apar, you have put us such a lot of effort to make our experience enjoyable and for this, we are very appreciative. There were times throughout the trek where we felt a little uncomfortable with the various forms of affection, we felt you displayed towards us. This may be due to what is acceptable in different cultures but for us, this was quite inappropriate. There was also a comment which was made where it was instigated that Emelia is ugly ( haha ! ) + I am fat ( haha ), this was probably the lowlight of our Annapurna Circuit Trek, however from past day onwards we were feeling a lot more comfortable in the professionalism conducted. We apologize that we were unable to raise these concerns in person but at times we were unable to voice of our concerns due to the amounts of emotions involved overall we would Like to thank you for all your hard work + enthusiasm in making this an amazing + enjoyable experience for us. I traveled alone to Nepal on August 2017, so what I need was a friend. I met Apar at Kuala Lumpur airport, and he brought me to my hostel on 12 pm.  Then, he introduced Laxman to me, and we became clo ... Thank you, Laxman, my best friend on my trekking. I had a reasonable trekking plan owing to Laxman advice. We shared a room, local foods (I requested b/c we were friends!) and unforgettable moments. Poon Hill Jomsom Trekking - The BEST ONE I had so many interesting experiences with wild birds, flowers, snow mountain, waterfall, dreams...even leeches... sometimes he took care of me like a baby!!! Thank you, Laxman again for your advice and explanation on the trekking tour. Without Laxman, I could not have a wonderful trekking tour! When I came back Kathmandu, Apar volunteered for my local city tour! He brought me to some Hindu temples/Buddha pagodas local restaurants/bars/beer! Another close friend on my Nepal trip. So lucky! Both of them so good in English and I know more and more about Nepal traditional festivals, daily life, religion, local foods... We became the close friends. Keep in touch, my friends Apar, Laxman. Excellent Annapurna Base Camp Trek

I had an excellent Annapurna Base Camp venture with you. You have a wealth of knowledge of the different routes, possible times between destination and overnight lodges, and an equal depth of knowledg ... I had an excellent Annapurna Base Camp venture with you. You have a wealth of knowledge of the different routes, possible times between destination and overnight lodges, and an equal depth of knowledge about local cultural heritage, National culture heritage and the" way of life" of people living in the Mountains (Agriculture, investments, working life, education). Unfortunately, you were not able to control the weather! The middle 5 days, more or less from Bamboo to ABC and back, was either walking through clouds or in non-stop torrential rain. Except for the magical, glorious 6 AM views at ABC itself, when for one and half hours the sky was clear and sunny, and we saw Annapurna in all it's awesome beauty. Then it rained again, for 6 hours! so the best of luck with your part, education and Trekking Trail Nepal and I hope that you take as extra past good qualification in metrology; Ha!! BEST TREKKING EXPERIENCE EVER, ABC Trek is the Memorable and Amazing holidays for Us.  I will do my recommendation to Apar our Guide, Kiran our supporter and Trekking Trail Nepal.

Everest Base Camp

We had a great time doing the EBC trek with Trekking Trails. Our guide was very knowledgeable and well informed. None of us got AMS, which was a big worry for us before the beginning of our trek. Tea ... We had a great time doing the EBC trek with Trekking Trails. Our guide was very knowledgeable and well informed. None of us got AMS, which was a big worry for us before the beginning of our trek. Tea houses we got were pretty neat too and I felt we got better accommodation during the trek compared to many other groups. Overall, I feel they offer a great value for money and would be using them again for our next trek in Nepal which I hope happens sometime soon!

From the moment you land at Katmandu to the mom ... I have been looked after by Apar and this crew twice now and I have to say it is the safest, friendliest, accommodating experience I could ever imagine. From the moment you land at Katmandu to the moment you are back at the airport checking-in to fly home, Apar has everything taken care of with the most supreme attention to detail and concern that all your needs are met. Yet, he makes this all look like it is no bother! The trek itself is outstanding. I now live in Japan and do a lot of hiking, but without fail every time I am up a lovely Japanese mountain, I long to be back in Nepal trekking - the experience was that fulfilling.  Just book it, you won't be disappointed!

I cannot recommend this experience highly enough! The scenery is amazing, the people are helpful and so friendly, and the staff become friends...... this really is a life changing experience and there ... I cannot recommend this experience highly enough! The scenery is amazing, the people are helpful and so friendly, and the staff become friends...... this really is a life changing experience and there is no better company to do this with. Make sure you do plenty of stair climbing to prepare though as there is one day which is literally thousands of steps :)
