After breakfast, we start the 4-wheel drive from the Pokhara Hotel. It takes 2-4 hours to reach Upper Ulleari. This time depends on traffic and View Point Stop, and Season. Ulleari is a beautiful Gurung Village at a height of 2,090 Meters. From the Last station of Upper Ulleari, we start our real Short Poon Hill Trek of 2 Days.

Bloody spectacular. We started in Paro, all rugged terrain, green valleys, and misty mornings, then slowly worked our way up into the highlands and Himalayas. The sort of place where the only noise is the odd yak and mulls bell tinkling and local songs from Nepalese and Bhutanese guides and porters in the distance, and the low hum of monks chanting. No traffic, no nonsense, just proper peace to make the best trek in the world. The scenery? Like something out of a dream.
