Tilicho Lake Throng-La Pass Trekking Trail
Tilicho Lake Throng-La Pass trekking starts from Besisahar, which goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. This magnificent trail leads you to fine villages inhabited by different ethnic groups, offering spectacular and magnificent views of the white Himalayas.
We have modified this route as it is the same as the Annapurna Circuit trek, so from Manang instead of taking the valley north to Tanki Manang and Yak Kharka this route goes to the main valley to the west passes through the Khanshar Village (The Last Village of Nepal) and trek up to Tilicho Lake. We then travel to Yak Kharka and up to the pass of Thorang-La at 5,416m. From Thorang-La, the route leads down to Muktinath and on to Jomsom from where a twenty-minute scenic flight takes you to the Pokhara.
