After your arrivals Trekking Trail Nepal Kilimanjaro team will transfer you to our premiums Hotel on the way to Kilimanjaro National Park. Itinerary of day 2 start with the dense rainforest that most of the trekkers ever seen in their life. Trekking Tai is totally green from all around. When you woke up after the first night from your tent, you will see and feel the Tanzanian party with local music and songs from porter and staffs. Don’t get surprised this is in an itinerary of porters and your whole team of Kilimanjaro Trek. You will get revitalized from them to proceed your Day 3 of Kilimanjaro climb. Today also you will follow the rain forest and some point you will have to say goodbye to the canopy shade and you enter into the Hazier zone. At about 11,000 feet / 3352 meters, rainforest comes to ends. In Haider Zone, the vegetation becomes much-much smaller and less dense. There is no shade and no more canopy. You will reach the camp of Shira One before dark in the dusk. Eat amazing food, enjoy the sunset and sleep in your comfortable tent at 11,500 ft.

Kilimanjaro finally uncovered for you as our experience. From this point, you can see the Mt. Kilimanjaro and feel the raw power of Nature. You will blow away from the beautiful sight in front of your eyes. For the first time, you could properly see what was ahead of you. Knowing that you are elevation over 11,000 feet. Today we will hike around 7 Kilometer nearly equal to 4 miles, which takes about 4-6 hours. The alpine desert habitat and rough terrain of volcanic eruption will make little difficult to hike on. In the meantime, we will continue to hike up to the eastern ridge and turns towards southeast to Lava Tower. The trekking tail of Kilimanjaro Trek today is little tricky, which is benefits for us to acclimatization. We spend a night at 15,190 feet on the top of Lava Tower.

Day 6 of the itinerary of Kilimanjaro Trek with Trekking Trail Nepal is a full day rest. We will hike up, down and excursion around the Lava Tower to make our body to fit for upcoming elevations. You will trek all the way to the base camp for the Kilimanjaro summit. The base is called the Arrow Glacier where you will reach after a beautiful day of trek. Once we reach the Arrow Glacier, you will camp there to stay overnight.

The main highlight of the day comes today. You are going to trek and climb all the way to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It will be an amazing moment to stand at the highest point of Africa and see the view of its surroundings. Standing at the elevation of 5,895 meters above sea level and watching around is certainly an incredible experience. After enjoying wonderful time at the peak, you will hike all the way down to Mweka Camp to stay overnight.

It is the last day of the Kilimanjaro Trek. You will traverse the trail towards Mweka Exit Gate to bring the trek to end. Once you reach the gate, you will be transferred to the hotel where the trip comes to end.

It is difficult to get Nepali rupees before you arrive in the country, but there are numerous ATMs and authorized money exchangers (bureau de change) located at the airport upon your arrival and beside your accommodation in both Kathmandu and Pokhara. The Bureau de changes will easily exchange dollars or euro for rupees and you can get cash. Along with this, you can withdraw cash from ATMs or BANKS with your Visa, American Express, Master, Diners Club, Discover, Cirrus, Maestro, Capital One, or Diners Club, Card from the ATMS. There will not be any available ATMs or money exchanges along the trekking trail but you can find ATMs in most of the corners of cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini and so you should plan to bring some cash with you for incidental expenses. But a EUR Bill Higher than 100 is not accepted in Nepal.

Most trekkers of high Himalayas usually bring a compact type camera and the ideal kit consisting of a padded carry case, spare memory cards, spare batteries, cleaning kit and a gorilla pod since it will make every trekking guest to explore trekking trail easily and not heavy to carry. But it is of your choice and comfort which type of camera would you bring to the trek. A trekker fond of photography or a photographer would be carrying a DSLR along with the kit mentioned above.
