Day

Arrive in Paro.

Today, Trekking Trail Nepal team will welcome at Paro International Airport after your land. After this you will start drive to Hotel in Paro Valley next to Airport, Check in to the hotel and Enjoy your free time around the Paro Valley.

Depends on your flight time, we will manage the program for guided sight seeing around the Paro Valley.

Drive from Paro to Ta Dzong (2,200 m). Trek to Jele Dzong crossing the village of Damchena.

Today is the easiest hike even in the short trekking in Bhutan on the trail of Druk Path Trek. After breakfast we start about 1 hours scenic drive to reach our trek starting point of Ta Dzong.
Crossing the natural valley, old Dzongs and village of Damchena, we will reach in our camp of Jele, Dzong for over night camp.

Trek form Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha.

The short trekking trail of Day 3 of Druk Path Trek is most amazing with ever contrast of Green forest, white Himalayas and blue sky. Depends on months, the red rhododendrons or golden rice fields will add more charm on the views. The major attraction of day is the highest peak of Bhutan, Mt. Chomolhari 7,314 m. Yak farm, Apple farm, different kinds of wild birds and orchids will make your day. As the end of day 3 we will reach Jangchulakha for camp.

Trek form Jangchulakha to Jimilang Tsho Lake.

Trekking trail for today is also beautiful but its of different kinds. We hike about 2 hours in the ridge between two towns Paro and Thimphu. As always we will be covered by dense forest of pine, juniper and short rhododendrons plants. The views of Himalayas and valleys will be amazing form the ridge. We will start to hike lower as last part of trail come close. We will reach Jimilangtsho Lake where we set up the camp for overnight. Side Excursion around the Lake.

Trek from JimilangTsho Lake Camp to Simkota Tsho.

Crossing the Jimilang Tsho Lake area, we will start to feel to getting close to civilization area. Along the trail we will cross few Yak herd and farms. With the magnificent views of Himalayas, forest and valley we reach our another lake camp at Simkota.

Simkota Tsho to Phajoding 3,870 m trek. Drive back to Thump or Paro City.

The last day of Druk Path Trek is relatively harder in compare to other days as itinerary. Today trek is mostly downhill through forested areas of mostly blue pine. On completion of trek you are collected and transported by road to your overnight accommodation. The colorful 41,50 and 4,210 meter high two pass between our camp is a gateway to Thimphu, But we will make this part too. Meanwhile the view of Himalayas peaks and lakes next to our trekking trail will make feel the day shorter and more enjoyable. Similarly the last part of trail is mostly downhill close to Thimphu. But its still get interesting that we will be in dense forest till we meet our Jeep Crew who will drive us to Thimphu or Paro. The actual Druk Path Trek end at Sangay Gang, which is close to Thimphu City.
