Ranikot Namobuddha Hike and Mohare Danda Trek Itineraray

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal. Welcome at airport by Trekking Trail Nepal team. Hotel transfer, trip briefing and team meet up. 

Day 2: Kathamndu guided sight seeing. Today you will explore the 4 unesco heritage site Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Monkey Temple and Patan Durbar square.

Day 3: Breakfast, start Ranikot Village Hike. Explore the Ranikot Village meet the people and learn about culture, and lifestyle.

Day 4: Enjoy the sunrise and explore the area of Ranikot View Point, and Hike down to Parkhalchour. With short local bus drive we reach the Panauti. Explore 1300 years old town, enjoy the Newari cuisine lunch. Later hike to Namobuddha Monastery. Explore the Monastery, Meditation center. Dinner with monk student. Eat like monk, sleep like guest, in monastery guest house.

Day 5: Early morning take a part of daily monastery worship and puja ceremony. After breakfast we start hike down to Dhulikhel with ridge hiking trail. With the lunch at Dhulikhel our Ranikot Namobuddha Hiking comes to end. Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 6: Fly to Pokhara. Explore Gupteshower cave and Boating on Phewa Lake.  Later enjoy the free time around the lake. 

Day 7: Pokhara to Banskharka

After breakfast, we start drive towards Beni. If interested we can visit Apar’s village home after the short explore the world longest single span pedestrian bridge. Drive Comes to end at Beni, where we enjoy our lunch before start Mohare Danda Trek.

The trekking adventure begins today! First, we drive about 4 hours to Galeshwor in Myagdi district, passing Nayapul, the Modi River, Kushma, and Beni Bazar. Along the way, we stop in Baglung to visit Asia's highest and longest suspension bridge, a 567-meter-long highlight of the trip.

After lunch in Beni, we start a short 2-hour trek to Banskharka. The trail takes us through terraced fields, charming villages, and forests. We stay overnight at a community lodge or homestay in Banskharka. This marks the first trekking day of the Mohare Danda Trek.

Day 8: Banskharak to Nangi

Today, we’ll enjoy the beauty of nature and culture as we trek towards Nagi Village. The Mohare Danda Trek reveals its charm, leaving a lasting impression. Our journey takes us through the lovely village of Suntala Kharka and lush forests, making it a memorable adventure.

Day 9: Nangi to Moahre Danda 

Get ready for the most exciting day of the Mohare Danda Trek! After a hearty breakfast in Nagi, we’ll hit the trail for a 4-6 hour hike to Mohare Danda. The path is stunning, with incredible views all around. Along the way, we’ll pass Him Pal Pass (3,098m), a breathtaking viewpoint perfect for soaking in the scenery. By the time we reach Mohare Danda, we’ll be treated to a jaw-dropping sunset – it’s a highlight of the trek! Tonight, we’ll relax at a cosy community lodge, wrapping up this unforgettable day

Day 10: Mohare Danda to Ghorepani passing Kokhe Danda and Poon Hill 

Welcome to the highest point of our trip – Mohare Danda, sitting proudly at 3,313 metres! The day kicks off with a magical sunrise and jaw-dropping views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu Himalayan ranges. It's a morning straight out of a dream! After soaking in the views and enjoying breakfast, we hit o the another view point of Kokhe Danda 3303 meters, just 15 minutes away view point. Later we heading to the charming village of Ghhorepani crossing the most popular Poon Hill 3210m.  This is the shortest day yet we explore 3 view points in 1 day. The same mountains views looks different. The day concludes with amazing dinner with views of sunset in Hotel Sunny.

Day 11: Sunrise Hike to Poon Hill and Trek to Ghandruk. 

Rise and shine early (around 2 hours before sunrise) for an exciting hike to Poon Hill (3,210m). It’s a 60-minute uphill walk, but trust us, the panoramic sunrise view is worth every step! You’ll spot over 32 stunning peaks, including the 7th and 10th highest mountains in the world—Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m). Poon Hill is truly a nature lover’s paradise with easy access!

After soaking in the views, we’ll head back to the tea house for breakfast and then start trekking toward the charming village of Ghandrung. On the way, we’ll pass the popular brunch stop, Deurali. Ghandrung is a picturesque village nestled in the lap of Annapurna South and Fishtail Mountain, surrounded by lush green forests.

It’s a long day, starting early and ending around 5 PM when we reach Ghandrung. But every moment is packed with unforgettable experiences!  ( If you want skip the crowed morning poon hill, we can enjoy the view from peaceful Thaple Danda too).

Day 12: Farewell Trek to Pokhara

After breakfast, we’ll explore Ghandrung, including a visit to the traditional museum. Then, we trek down to Nayapul, and enjoy our final mountain-side lunch by the Modi River. A short 1-hour drive takes us back to Pokhara, where your hotel awaits. This wraps up the incredible 6-day Mohare Danda Trek with Poon Hill. You can enjoy the time in Pokhara. 

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu, Enjoy the free time as per your preferences. You can enjoy the cultural dinner with our crew.

Day 14: Transfer to Airport for you flight. This is the end of Rankot Namobuddha Hike with Mohare Danda Trek with Trekking Trail Nepal .
