Arrive Paro.

Today you will land in the country of Happiest People ever, to explore Legacy of Bhutan Tour.

Before touch down the land of thunder dragon, do not forget to look outside of your window. Depends on your flight the highest mountains of the world in different side. If you are flying form Nepal, India and Bangladesh you have to look on your left-side for Himalayas. However if your are flying from Thailand look on your left window.

The views from the flight is amazing, if you are flying from Nepal to Paro. In this flight you will see five eight thousanders Mt. Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga. With early breakfast we will drive to the base of the Tiger Hill, which takes about 1 hours. From where we will hike to the top of Tiger Nest. The Typical Name of Tiger Nest is Taktsang Monastery.

Today we drive to Thimphu, the capital of Kingdom of Bhutan. In Thimphu we visit the followings: The National Library, with its in depth assortment of invaluable Buddhist manuscripts. The Institute for Zorig Chusum widely known as Painting School. Later, visit the Memorial Chorten and at last oldest handmade paper center nest to the town.

Thimphu to Punakha.

After breakfast in Thimphu we start our 4 hours drive to Punakha. Here we cross the beautiful pass of Dochu-la Pass elevated 3,088 meter sea level (10,130 feet ). Not only the pass and around is beautiful, The Himalayas views from here is mind blowing with the contrast of 108 small chorten, dense ever green forest and wide valley in chill weather. Punakha Gangtey.

After breakfast, depart for Gangtey via Wangdi. He we approach crossing winding road on the high mountainous hill covered by oak and pine forest. This scene continues till we reach Phob-Jikha, another pretty high alpine valley. Situated next to the glacier PhobJikha is widely knows for summer camps. Here you will see many spices of migrated birds, even migrated people from high alpine of Tibet few centuries. Gangtey to Jakar and to Bumthang for overnight.

After breakfast, proceed to Jakar valley via Trongsa. As yesterday we will drive through the similar highway. However we reach the beautiful pass of 33 hundred meter (10830 ft) called Pele La Pass. This Pass have some interesting and legacy history that our guide will share with you over coffee or tea. Furthermore we will stop our vehicles and enjoy a short visit at Chen-Debji Chorten. This 18th century chorten is the home of many enlightenment Tibetan Lamas. You will fell this sense. After that we reach Trongsa, where spectacular Dzong over rocky ridge is waiting for your visit. With short stop here we proceed to Bumthang, the hidden valley of Bhutan. Bumthang is the most natural and spectacular as well unexplored districts in the whole kingdom of Bhutan. The powerful Buddhist monk school, Natural beauties and far from western world make Bumthang a best town in the Legacy of Bhutan Tour. We continue our drive to make a side trip of Yuoong La pass of 3,400 m / (11,155 ft ). We spend evening relaxing on the on side of Bumthang Valley and inhaling the peace with pure air.
