Ministerial Meeting of Nepal Government and Covid-19 Cricis Management Commetee decides to open Domastic Flight and long routh public transportation from September 17th. At the press confrence held on september 15, New government spoke person Mr. Gaynwali adds Hotels, local travel and regional development program will be resume. However he request there is still risk of Coronaviurs so be aware and protect each other with possible means.
Similarly, government appoves 50% increasement in the long route public transportation to compensate the 60% carrying capacity then normal.
Government also decide to make international flights, arrivals and tourist visa and easy and opne for all travellers. By this Trekking, Travelling and Mountaineering even with Hotels, resturants will be back on track with relaxed lockdown.

Nepal Lockdown: No Transportation and No One Is Able to Leave Home form 06:00Tuesday 24 March

Nepal government has banned the general public from leaving the house on Tuesday. The government has decided to completely lock the country on the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection. Monday's meeting of the High Level Committee on Corona barred the general public from leaving the house for a week from 6 AM on Tuesday. Similar security agencies, health workers will not be able to transport food and essential goods and use vehicles without permission.

Decisions of High Level Commission for Coronavirus Barred

1. No one will be able to leave the house except for essential tasks such as drug treatment, food purchases.

2. To prohibit the operation of all public or private passenger vehicles except those used by unlicensed vehicles, health workers, security agencies.

3. Closing all domestic and commercial flights except those used by the security agency and other scheduled flights.

4. In addition to essential services like health, safety, food, water, milk, electricity, telecommunications, information and communication, customs, quarantine, garbage management, the concerned office bearers will leave so that only the staff will be present.
5. Arrangements will be made for departure from the industries related to pharmaceuticals and health equipment, foodstuffs, drinking water, milk, fuel, other industries operated by the private sector, workers working in factories, and related industries.

6. Arrangements will be made for the regular supply of medicines and pharmaceuticals by the practitioners. To increase the value of money or to blackmail, hoard or hide, or to disrupt supply, to take control of it in accordance with the prevailing law, to seize the material and to use it in the prevention and treatment of diseases.

7. To make necessary arrangements for the implementation of this order issued pursuant to sub-section (1) of Article 8 of the Infectious Diseases Act, 1, and to reuse all the Chief District Officers of the State of Nepal as per the requirement of the Local Administration Act, 2.

8. Any person disobeying or disobeying an order issued under the Infectious Diseases Act 2 shall be punished in accordance with that Act.

It has also been decided that the Minister will pay a salary of 1 months for this fund.

• As the local authority decision of Birjung, Parsa District all people who come through Raxoul Border to Nepal have to spend 14 days in quarantine. Nepalese citizen will be in self / home quarantine and other nationalities will be in state control quarantine.

Updated Current Notice Regarding Travel Restriction Related to COVID-19 Dated 13 March 2020

Considering the declaration World Health Organization regarding the scale of COVID-19 Spread as Global Pandemic, Following the recommendations, and counter measures to be taken by the countries to cope with the pandemic and assimilating the International Health Regulations ( IHR ) 2005. Protocols and Prescriptions: Government of Nepal has decided to enforce the following decisions, directions, and precautionary measures in the sup-plantation of all the earlier notices issued on this subject.

The provision enlisted in the noticed will come in to effects from 12 hours midnight ( Nepal Standard Time ) on 14th March 2020 till 30th April 2020.

1. Visa-on-arrival for all foreigners has been suspended for aforementioned period.

2. All foreign with a prior valid visa of Nepal have to submit a swab test PCR health certificate issued Maximum 7 days before their arrival date to Nepal and must be submitted at the immigration office Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

3. Any foreign nationals including NRNS willing to visit Nepal for compelling region may contact to Nepali diplomatic missions abroad. A recent swab test PCR health certificate issued maximum 7 days before their arrival to Nepal mandatory along with visa application and it has to be submitted at the Immigration office TIA.

4. On arrival Visa ( Gratis) facility granted to non resident Nepalese card holders is also suspended for the aforementioned period.

5. All foreign nationals entering Nepal since 14 March 2020 are subjected to stay in self quarantine and Nepali Nationals including NRNs are subjected to stay in home quarantine for 14 days from the date of their arrival.

6. Foreigners with diplomatic and official visa entering Nepal for the first time or traveling back to Nepal are subjected to stay in Self Quarantine for 14 days.

7. Foreigners with Business, study and working visa traveling back to Nepal are subjected to stay in Self Quarantine for 14 days.

8. All Nepali Nationals residing abroad are requested to avoid non essential travel and urged to follow high precautionary measures.

9. All the land ports of entry in Nepal remain closed for arrival in Nepal during the aforementioned period to the foreigners from third countries and are requested to use Tribhuvan International Airport only.

10. All the permits for mountaineering expeditions issued, and to be issued for spring 2020 season are suspended.

The diplomatic missions of Nepal representing abroad and foreign missions in Nepal are requested to acknowledge and circulate this notice accordingly. The international airlines operators bound to Nepal, Travel, Tour and Trekking Company are also requested to follow the aforementioned decisions, directions and relevant circulars of Government of Nepal.
