Day 01: Huaraz – Cashapampa – Llamacorral (3,760m)
The Itinerary of Santa Cruz Trek starts from Cashapampa and head towards Llamarorral today. But before starting the trek, we will need to drive to Cashapampa. It is a beautiful day of walk that takes us into the national park.
The walk today brings us a good elevation gain and takes us to the altitude of 3,760 meters above sea level. View of the surroundings from this elevation is simply incredible.
We stay overnight at the camp at Llamacorral.Day 02: Llamacorral – Taullipampa (4,200m)
The second day of the trek today, we will trek past two beautiful lakes of Ichiccocha and Jauncocha. We will also walk through several other wonderful sights to enjoy during the trek today.
The walk takes us to Taullipampa to set up our camp and stay overnight. It is a wonderful place to spend overnight. We take an easy time around once we reach the camp and acclimatize as we are already 4,200 meters above sea level.Day 03: Day 03: Taullipampa – Paria
We are on the third day of the trek and have already enjoyed several wonderful sights of the lakes, mountains and nature. The trek today takes us to Paria however we can also alternately choose to trek either to Huaripampa or Cahinapampa. We can enjoy some of the highest mountains in the Andes.
The beautiful sight of the snow-capped mountains along the trek makes our day wonderful. We also trek over the Punta Union Pass that stands at the elevation of 4,750 meters above sea level. This is the highest elevation that the trek takes us to. We eventually reach
Paria to stay overnight at the camp.
Day 04: Paria – Vaqueria – Huaraz
It is the final day of our Santa Cruz Trek. We trek to Vaqueria to bring our trek to the end. This part of the walk in the region also brings beautiful view to our sight. From Vaqueria, we will drive back to Huaraz to bring the trip to the end.
