Overview

Mera Peak stands at 6,476 m and is at the head of the quiet and remote Hinku valley in the Khumbu Himalayan Range, rarely frequented by trekkers-climbers. There are many approaches to Mera; some are easy and some require the crossing of the high and difficult pass and summit the Mera Peak.

Mera Peak Climbing Trek

Throughout the early stages of the Mera Peak Trek, the trail winds amongst lush forests of pine and rhododendrons. Strenuous trekking is constantly rewarded with brilliant mountain vistas of the Khumbu Himalayan Range and insights into the cultures of a cross-section of ethnic Nepalese tribes and peoples before you emerge into the high, arid desert region that is actually a part of the Tibetan Plateau.

The peak itself rises to the south of Everest. The Climb of Mera Peak is technically straightforward, however heavy snow and a maze of crevasses can make your journey a little more challenging to the Climbing of Mera Peak. In addition to the dream adventure of Mera Peak Climbing, this climbing package also covers the adventure of Lukla Airport, a different off the beaten trekking trail to Mera Peak Base Camp is extremely rewarding. This makes trek climbing Mera Peak experience rare and unspoiled Everest Trekking regions of Nepal with densely forested hillsides.
