Our drive day of Manaslu Annapurna Trek starts after breakfast in our Kathmandu hotel. So please enjoy the last luxury breakfast till we back in Pokhara.
We drive towards the west of Kathmandu Valley, following the highway to Pokhara. However, we take a right from Makekhu crossing the Trisuli River towards Dhading Beshi.
After an average lunch in Dhadhing Beshi, we continue our drive to Aru Ghat. The first part of this section is quite good in comparison to the last detail.
Driving comes with beautiful villages, valleys and rural views, which make more amazing with mountains. You can see Lamjung, Ganesh, Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Shringi Himal, and many other peaks on a clear day.
The last part of our drive along the bank of the Budi Gandaki River is fantastic. After reaching the Soti Khola, you can explore the area with a beautiful waterfall and picturesque villages, and agricultural farms.
Probably the first day of our Manaslu Annapurna Trek is the easiest. We follow a newly constructed motor-able road along the same River Budi Gandaki. But the good thing is we have welcoming local people, dense forest, and cultivated fields with the Himalayas on the horizon.
A couple of short uphills and down makes our day adventurous. The sandy riverbed point along the trekking trail on Lunch point comes with swimming options.
One of the major attractions today is the narrow gorge with sheer cliffs of the Budi Gandaki River. Even today, we follow this same river till the Tatopani ( Hot spring) before crossing Dodan Khola.
The beautiful natural design of narrow, sheer cliffs alongside the Budi Gandaki River gorge is the one attraction of today. Our starting part of the trekking trail begins along with these sky-high cliffs along the East bank. Further ahead, we reach the Dodan River, where you have the opportunity to enjoy a Natural Hot spring pool.
As our hiking with mild altitude gain, the views around the valley change rapidly. The river bed goes wide, and the beach full of white sands. The trekking trail comes with the steepest ridged before we start a pretty long descent again to the river bank.
Our day of Manaslu Annapurna Trek itinerary comes to an end at the village of Jagat.
Today we hike for about 6 hours, combining few short and moderate ups and down, crossing the beautiful village of Philim and Elle Bhatti. Today the big landslide along the side of the trekking trail may be a new attraction. The last couple of hours' course is beautiful, covered by the dense forest of pine and Oak with some traditional houses.
Today our trek starts with an initial hike up, follows by descending to cross a suspension bridge to reach the opposite side of the Budi Gandaki River.
A couple of riverside makes our routes adventurous and undulating. Buddhist and religious mane walls, colorful Chorten make the views more picturesque. Furthermore, the culture, people, tradition, housing, and lifestyle represent Tibetan territory.
We follow the trail on the northern bank just below the Bih Village. Bih village is known for its family of masters stone carver. Bih villagers handcraft the flat stone you seen paved on our trekking trails. The stupas, stone mani wall, is other parts where you can see their arts and skills.
The views of Shringi Himal with other neighboring minor peaks will stay with us until we reach Ghap. Ghap is the traditional Buddhist Tibetan village where we stop for lunch.
After lunch, the dense evergreen forest of birch, junipers, and pine gives us shade and company until we reach Namrung Hotel.
Today our trail starts with a descent to Damonan River followed by a short ascent along a narrow path through the forest to Namrung Village. After crossing checkpoints and forest trails, we reach the tiny Manaslu village of Li Gaon.
After the village area, you can see the iconic Yaks. If you are luckier, you can see some white fur money hanging in dense forests or close to water sources.
The views of the Mountains become better and bigger since we are close to the Himalayas range. Some high mountains like Ganesh Himal 3 and 4, Buddha peak, and Kuang Peak, Nepal-China's border peak.
Above all, the first panoramic views kiss our eyes with peaks of Himal Chuli 7893 m, Peak 29 7871 m with Eight-Thousanders Mount Manaslu 8163 m.
The first rest day does not come with total rest. We use this day to explore the Samagaon. Today we explore Pungyen Monastery, Birendra Lake, on the way to Manaslu Base Camp.
Our trekking trail today takes us into wilder, remote, and high-altitude territory. The majestic views of Mountain Manaslu and glacial moraine with rivers make our trek more exciting and adventurous.
By lunchtime, we make foot in the village of Samdo. The remote town is the home of over 200 Tibetan refugees living here after exile from Tibet in 1959.
After lunch, you can explore the surrounding with the Trekking Trail Nepal Manaslu-Annapurna Trekking guide.
Larky Base Camp is also called Manaslu Base Camp. Somewhere it mentions Larkey Phedi, even Larkey Base Camp. However, the widely popular name is Dharmashala.
Although today's hike is short, the thin air makes us challenging to hike in our original flow.
The views of the Larkey or Manaslu glacier close to our trekking route helps us to realize how high and close we are with the Himalayas. Finally, with elevation and skirting around Sarka River, we reach our camp at the base of Larkye La Pass.
The most beautiful day of Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek starts with very early hiking. Then, the Highest Point of Manaslu Circuit Trek comes with a little cold and challenging hike up.
We start our day in the dark with a flashlight, gloves, and warm clothes like Kilimanjaro Trekking. However, with the starting of sunlight, the beautiful shape of Larkye Mountain comes in front of us to motivate our hiking to reach Manaslu Pass.
Our trekking trail towards Larkya La Pass is very gradual; however, it takes time because of the high altitude. The last section of the route is a little steep compared to others but reaching the top is the only way to get back and comes with the best gifts of incredible views of the Himalayas.
Average hikers need 4-5 hours to reach the highest point of 5106 m, aka Larkya La Pass.
The beautiful Himalayas vista around you is truly unique. Amazing views and Mountains like Himlung (7126m), Chap, Gyaji Kang, Kang Guru (6981m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna 4, Pisang Peak, Lamjung Himal worth it for Manaslu Circuit Trek.
After a short break for photography and rest, we start our descent towards the Annapurna Himalayas range. Going down is easy, but it hurts more. The first part is steeper, mainly covers with ice, snow, and scree as we follow glaciers.
Views changes with every step you make down toward Bimthang. The most comprehensive view from the top of Larkya La Pass comes to narrow as we follow the Burdin River.
On a fantastic day with the highest point of the Manaslu circuit trek, we come to an end on day 12 of the Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek.
Today is the most leisurely day of our first part of the Manaslu Annapurna circuit trek in the first part. We follow the rough terrain until the Burdin River meets the big Marsyangdi, which comes from the northeast of the Annapurna Himalayas range.
Although we are descending, the views of Manaslu Mountain along with Himlung will become spectacular. Our day completes after crossing the Marsyangdi River and check in to our hotel. Also, here we meet the first part of our trek, i.e., Manaslu Circuit Trek; the rest is Annapurna Circuit Trek.

The second section of the excellent hiking trail of Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek starts from here. After breakfast, we start our journey with the views of the Himalayas. We cross the traditional village of Tanki Manang and Ghunsang. We stop at Yak Kharka for the first tea break for the day and continue to Upper Ladder crossing upper Yak Kharka.
A short day comes with the strenuous climb as we continue up the valley and cross a steel suspension bridge over the Jordan River before reaching the Throng Phedi. Here we have to cross the falling stone area with more care. In Throng Phedi, we stop for tea and snacks, which refill us to gross the steepest 400-meter trail of Manaslu Annapurna Trekking.
This most strenuous trekking trail takes a maximum of 90 minutes but comes with a warm dining hall with tasty lunch. We rest with enjoying views and prepare the big day for tomorrow.
A long, strenuous day, but you surely rewarded with matchless Himalayas views.
We start our day about 4-5 am with hot drinks and a high-energy light breakfast. The thin air makes it difficult to reach the Throng La Pass, but within hours you will surely get the Highest Point of Manaslu Annapurna Circuit trekking in Nepal to celebrate the success.
We have two tea shops on the way to the top. One can reach after one and a half hours while another is on the top next to Throng-La Pass.
Here we celebrate our success of Annapurna Manaslu Trekking with hot chocolate with a cheesy face and capture in camera.
Not the easy but painful downhill slippery trail starts live after Lakrya La Pass. But with two more hours, we reach Muktinath Phedi for lunch. And with another 1-2 hours, we complete our day in Muktinath Hotel.
The major attraction is the Mountains peaks from 2 mountain ranges, Dhaulagiri on the West and Annapurna in the Easteast. Mountain Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world, while Nilgiri, Muktinath Peak, Tukuche peak, Throng Mountains adds the attraction of Jomsom on our Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek. However, many other peaks come to your eyes and camera to say hello and Namaste.
Muktinath temple is the best example of cooperation and cultural-religious harmony between Hindus and Buddhism. The day starts with the visit to the high-altitude mixed religious temple of Muktinath. Next, we enjoy breakfast and continue our trek to the ancient Tibetan fort town Kagbeni.
From today we follow another natural water cannel called Kali Gandaki River. This Kali Gandaki River Valley is one of the oldest civilizations of Nepal between Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri Himalayas Range.
Kagbeni is the entry point of Upper Mustang Trek as well holy pilgrimage site from Hindu. Similarly, Upper Dolpo Trek can start from here, which is part of the Great Himalayas Trail. After reaching here, we enjoy lunch and explore the Tibetan school, monastery, 15th-century fort, and ancient Buddhist heritage.
An easy hiking trail along with the bank of Kali Gandaki River takes us to Jomsom. However, this will not be easy when the sandy desert bank of the river starts to get warm, which ultimately creates high blowing wind towards your face. This wind speed reaches up to 70 Miles per hour. It becomes worse when it comes to sand towards you. But all this adventure comes to an end at Jomsom, where we end our combined Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trekking in Nepal.
