Kori Kapuche Lakes Trek: A 6-Day Authentic Trekking Trail
Kori Trek, a hidden gem in the heart of the Annapurna region, offers unspoiled natural beauty and serene landscapes. Nestled in the inner Annapurna conservation buffer zone, this trek takes you through the pristine wilderness of Trekking Trail Nepal, offering awe-inspiring views of the majestic Himalayas. Known as the crown jewel of Sikles and Tangting villages. Kori Trek promises an unforgettable experience far from the well-trodden paths of Short ABC Trek and Mardi Himal.
The region is primarily inhabited by the Magar, Ghale, and Gurung ethnic groups who practice Buddhism and Hinduism, a nature-centric spiritual tradition. The distinct cultures and languages of these communities add a rich layer of cultural diversity to your trekking experience.
Dudh Pokhari Holy Lake
Along the Kori Trek, you will find alternative routes leading to Syange and eventually connecting to the famous Annapurna Circuit Trek. You will encounter Dudh Pokhari Lake, a sacred body of water frequented by pilgrims, especially during the Janai Purnima festival in September. Dudh Pokhari Lake graces the northeast side of Kori Hill Top, adding a spiritual dimension to your journey. The beauty of the lake and its surroundings provides a peaceful respite for trekkers.
