Kathmandu Shopping Tour day starts today. When you arrive at Kathmandu airport, we will be there to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.
After you check in to our hotel, you have enough time for free time to enjoy the touristy Thamel or relax in the hotel. So that you adjust yourself to the new atmosphere of Kathmandu unmatch to your home country. You can take some wanderings around. We will be giving you some guidance on how to do that if you feel the need of.
The day starts early after breakfast today. Although we have named the day shopping exploration, we are going to explore three amazing world heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley – Bhaktapur, Boudhanath, and Patan. We will have time to visit wood craft workshop, Thangka painting school, singing bowl demonstration and many other places in addition to visiting amazing squares. Bhaktapur and Patan have medieval palace buildings and beautiful pagoda architectures in the squares whereas Boudhanath is the biggest Buddhist stupa of its kind
in the world.
We will have a beautiful exploration of the places along with souvenir shops and workshops exploration today. The day will be full of art, craft, tradition, symbolism and cultural wonders.
Second day of Kathmandu Shopping Tour takes us to explore two heritage monuments – Swoyambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square – and local market area of Indra chowk, Ason and back to the souvenir shopping district of Thamel.
We can endlessly walk the streets of Thamel exploring the shops around and looking for the suitable gifts. From Pashmina andCashmeres to Tea, we can find everything in this area. Before arriving to Thamel, we will walk through beads market, spice market and many other wonderful streets. Overall the day will be full of cultural, spiritual and local experiences.
As the final day of the trip, it’s time to say good bye. We will be at the hotel to see you off to airport for your final departure flight as per your flight schedule.
